Protagonists start in Songda City (The new capital of the Free Lands of Rangda) A city currently under construction and mostly run and managed by Devils and creatures called Leyaks that serve Rangda (Mortals that have turned themselves into blight devils using dark magics)

They all start the story sitting in one of the foyer rooms in The Cathedral Rangda (The massive palace covered in gold and glittering with aurora gems). They, along with a handful of other people, await the call of Rangda to find out why they were summoned here.

They have a few moments to talk to one another before one of the mortals in the foyer is summoned in by a Leyak. After a few moments, they hear a sharp scream that is quickly cut short. The doors open again revealing her massive throne room. They Leyak gestures for the protagonists to come in together. She sits in a throne of jewls, gems, iris, and glittering, golden chains. She is haloed by a stained glass window depicting her vanquishing the crimson army that once occupied these lands.

She begins explaining why she summoned them all here as the massive door closes behind them.

- 1st task. Go to the Lands of Daggermark and convince them to bend the knee to Their new goddess and queen, Lady Rangda. If they refuse, slaughter them. Spare the children and bring them to her.

  • Head to DaggerMark and see about the talk of rebellion. Kill the Leader of the Rebellion and make a show of it. Ensure that the townsfolk see that the rebellion is a seed of evil and a threat to the perfect world Lady Rangdal is creating.

    • The buildings of daggermark are mostly linked together creating a maze-like roadway with stairs and bridges connecting the bottom floor to the roadways that weave through the rooftops. The rooftops are coated in many small clay tiles painted a shimmering blue color to make it look as though one is walking in shallow water while they are walking one the rooftop roads. The catacombs beneath the city lead to a cave system network where the rebels are hiding. The Rebels are currently planning to steal the cattle from the capital. They hope to plant powerful explosives at the base of the Capital city walls. While the guards focus on the explosion they plan to sneak in using the cave systems. They are also hoping to get the Underground Flauran on their side to help harbor the stolen cattle.

  • Travel South West to the town of Normalsville. They are to fly the banners of Lady Rangdal. Their community acts very strangely. All bearing wide smiles and treat the party with a welcoming atmosphere. All greet the party with seemingly rehearsed lines. Some even just repeat the same things when greeted or addressed. “All is well here. No need for adventurers.” or “The Mayer sure does run a good city, Aye?” “What a fine community you've stumbled onto, ey stranger?” “you should stay over at the Nettles Bane Inn. Best Soup in Normalsville.” one inter action stands out. A girl approaches and grips the arm of one of the party. She appears to have tears filling her eyes and says with a cheery voice “I’m sure glad to have newcomers in town. Normalsville hasn't seen a new face in some time.”  She squeezes tightly then lets go and walks away. If she’s interacted with any farther she says “If you’ll excuse me I really need to get back to work.”, Though she just stands there staring up into the sky unblinking. Focus + Awareness check with a goal of 12 reveals that there is some invisible presence in the sky above this town.

    • If the party meets with the mayor they’ll notice that his lakeside home has been flooded. The house servants don't seem to take much notice and wade through knee deep water. Algae grows on the floor boards and fish swim through the halls. If any of the servants are addressed they say things like… “Not a single act of violence has occurred in Normalsville since the New Mayor took up the title. We sure are lucky.” “Are you enjoying your stay in Humansville so far? Sure is a lovely city.”

    • The mayor can be found after a brief search  in his office. A boring looking room with an empty book shelf and a single desk. Standing on top is an Aelif man looking out his window. Though his head is bend at an unnatural angel and his eyes are rolled back in his head. Medicine + Awareness CG of 10 reveals that this man's skin is wrinkled and slightly rotten from being submerged in water for too long. He greets the party with a friendly welcoming demeanor. He agrees to fly the banners without any issue.

      • If attacked, however The mayor will fight back and the entire town will become hostile and attack. Mental + Instinct CG 12 reveals that the towns people seem to share a collective consciousness.

      • The party will have to fight off constant hypnosis while the relatively weak assailants attempt to kill or retrain them. Protagonists a Mental + Focus CG 12 every turn that a villager of Normalsville can see them.  On the first failure they will lose 2d4 morale and become stunned. After the second failure they will lose another 2d4 morale and be given a single command that they must obey. They will also begin speaking speaking in the same way the villagers were. On the Third failure in a row, they will lose 3d4 morale and lose control of their actions for as long as they stay in the town. They will also act fully as one of the villagers. However if thy are taken far enough away from the town, they will return to normal.

  • Travel through Hills passing and make sure the BeastKin villiages through there are still accepting of their New God Queen. The beastkin there are Hyena like Carnivores. They keep weasel-like carnivores and gazel-like Herbivores in Pins and treat them like sentient cattle to do their bidding and eat the ones who fall out of line.

  • Travel to Bolds Path. A trench village built out of the bones and skeletons of many colossal beasts. Convince them to hang the banners of The Lady Rangdal.

    • They agree that if the party take the Path of the Bold Challenge and at least one of them can see it through and defeat the final challenge then they will bend the knee to Lady Rangdal and fly her banners.

      • A drinking challenge.

      • An arm wrestling challenge

      • Another drinking challenge

      • A beast wrestling challenge

      • A Hunting challenge

      • A race.

- 2nd task. Bounty Hunting. Rangda asks the party

to go around posting flyers with the names and faces

of known Monster Hunters. She offers great rewards

to anyone who turns in a bounty. She heavily hints that she wants the protagonists to bring these people in if given the chance.

- 3rd task. Her demon lord father is coming into

town. The party must ensure everything goes perfectly for

the evening .

  • secure the Perfect Recipe to cook an elaborate meal.

  • Rework the hedges in the front of the castle ,

  •  Put corpses on display for the event.

  •  Find the best Musician possible to perform in the main lobby.

  • Invite worthy Guests.

  • orchestrating a ball.

When the demon Lord Arrives, he brings news that she is to be Married off to

stop this “useless playing around ". Tells her to prepare to be wed off in one month. He then turns and leaves. Rangda is clearly distressed by this.
